Prital Bio
My name is Prital Patel and I was born and raised in New Jersey. Around the age of 5, I remember watching a movie and whispering to myself " I want to be in it". The more movies I watched, the more my desire to act in movies grew. I fell in love with that art and it became my passion. I watched movies and learned how to act. Anytime careers were discussed in schools or with family, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to be an actor. However, in Indian families, the acting profession is frowned upon. It is not considered a respectful profession. Now, I can easily put aside my dreams and become a lawyer like my family wanted me to, but in doing that, I would hurt myself and I would never be able to change the Indian community's mindset towards the acting profession. There are many Indian children who wants to become an actor and are very talented but because of family, they give up on their dreams. I wish to change that and help change the mindset of the Indian community while achieving my dream of becoming a professional actor.
Growing up I've heard countless incidents of violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking happening in India and all around the world. It was showed in movies, news, and social media platforms. Watching all this happening makes me furious and not being able to do anything about it made me angry. Well, through this movie I'm getting a chance to finally do something about it. I am very passionate when it comes to this topic and this movie is a great movie to watch for awareness and safety purposes for audience of every gender and age.
