Our
GOALS

These are the things we are trying to accomplish
by producing
this film: public awareness and prevention of Socia media crime .

The movie
This film is about the dangers of social media and how it has become a source for people to stalk and harass their victims. This film will show how it affects the lives of young people in the world of dance and how they become victims of persons with fetishes and obsessions.

We have non-union actors and professional dancers from Alvin Ailey who have volunteered their time to bring awareness to this project and share their experiences of being stalked on social media. We caution people that these stalkers may have fetishes, a past criminal record, or a mentally disturbing agenda to possess their victims and serve their obsessions or fantasies by performing instances of illegal acts of violence.

This film is being made to bring awareness of the frequency, the rate of violence and rage taken against women who are trying to build a career on their social media platforms in the dance community. Let’s put a stop to social media’s hidden dangers and save lives.

Cyber-stalking is a form of cyber-crime that takes place online when a criminal uses technology to harass or threaten a person. The assailant can blackmail the victims by gaining access to their emails, instant messages, chats, social media accounts, online-banking accounts and more. However, cyber-stalking shouldn’t be confused with trolling. Even though trolling consists of a group or a single person involved in online harassment, it usually involves an element of humor – while cyber-stalking comes with a malicious intent. Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and even Instagram are potential hunting grounds for cyber-stalkers. Victims usually pick up or run into an offender at such platforms. In the virtual world, cyber-stalkers and predators are lurking at every corner. Others may never know when they’re being targeted until it’s too late.”

Goal of Our Movie
Our goal is to bring awareness people on social media the regarding the dangers, and scams that exist in the Industry that may be naively ignored by young people. We want this film to be helpful and educational to many learn about these dangers and what they should look out for in this type of industry. We want them to be more conscious of their surroundings and the people they interact with. They should also learn how to be able to deviate away from risky behaviors that may potentially place them in harmful and even dangerous situations.
